Bryan Driving

Today Bryan drove for the second time. He did really good. He seems to be getting more comfortable with it. Still more pratice needed, but off to a good start. I took a picture of him driving.

It has been awhile...

Life is busy. That is my only excuse for the lack of posting. Bryan is doing wonderful. He is just enjoying being home and getting to spend time with Frank and I. He went to his drs last month and everything looked great. They have him on one medication for the vasculitis and any stomach problems he might have. It is a two for one deal, which is great. So he will take this for the rest of his life as a precaution. Also he is trying a medication to help him sleep. He seems to not be able to sleep at night, and it is frustrating for him. So hopefully the medicine helps.

We just got finished celebrating Frank's birthdy and now are looking forward to the summer. Easter is coming up and last year Bryan was in the hospital during Easter. So this will be the first year to dye eggs with Frank. We are both looking forward to this. Also Bryan wants to go to some baseball games this summer, so we plan to do that. We signed Frank up for Blast ball this spring, and Bryan has enjoyed getting to get him his gear and pratice with him. Bryan is super excited to have the summer to do things with Frank he never got to do when he was working. He plans to spend alot of time at the lake with Frank and I, and just enjoying each other.

Hopefully next month we will see the ear doctor again, and they will reprogram his cochlear implant on last time. This is the big upgrade. Then it is possible they will start fighting insurance to get the other ear done. Hopefully it goes smoothly. He continues to work on the hearing. It gets better daily I think. I think the one thing that is still needing work is his balance, but i really think this summer going and doing things with Frank and chasing after him will help alot with this.

I will update more often I promise!
